At The Healthy Living Kitchen we take a seasonal, whole foods approach because it makes sense.   We call it  Eating with the Seasons Diet because when you approach your life in rythm with the seasons you stay in touch with the vibrational movement of the earth which helps to give you balance and focus.  With this eating regime, you eat whole foods that are in season, you exercise with the seasons, adjust for your health issues and do not count calories.  This will give you an intuitive, flexible approach to your health and put you back in charge of how you feel from day to day.


Eating with the Seasons- A Personal Plan to Health & Weight Control


When you move your diet to eating a whole foods diet, you will naturally begin to pay attention to the seasons and what foods each season has to offer.  Eating with the seasons helps your body to stay energetically “tuned in”,  helps you get all the nutrients your body needs on a yearly basis, helps to decrease excess, stay connected, and bring awareness to preventing chronic diseases that plague our culture.


Signing up for Eating with the Seasons begins with an initial class to develop your personal plan and set personal goals, then continues with 4 yearly OPEN  TABLE SESSIONS in each season to adjust your plan accordingly.  We don’t just look at your food… we also address the whole person by looking at the complete circle of life, including your exercise routine, and tweaking as needed.  We provide you with a personal food journal that makes it easy to eat well.  You’ll also be linked in to our menu and recipe list and our group accountability plan that will help you stay connected when you need it most.

If you find you need more cooking skills to take advantage of eating seasonal whole foods, sign up for our cooking class series 1-5 and a Knife Skills class.    We offer “The Basics” and “Food Therapy” classes. (check our schedule).

We also offer our Education Series that ties into our program and helps you better understand what to eat and why so that you can get complete knowledge on balanced and healthy living.


We understand that people have busy schedules which is why we offer one OPEN TABLE SESSION per season.  Our quarterly meetings will be a planning session to help you stay on track for your health.   We also offer motivational speakers, local vendors to tell you all about the best products to buy and where to get them, market tours to understand how to buy the best whole foods you can afford. You will discover that one of the best parts of  EATING WITH THE SEASONS workshops is the people you meet who have a kindred spirit in staying healthy, enjoy eating well, and care about preventing disease.
