Basic Fundamentals of Whole Foods Eating

These classes are the fundamentals of why we need to eat a whole foods diet.  In conjunction with our cooking classes we offer interactive workshops on what they do for the body and how to incorporate these healthy foods into your diet.  Each category has its’ own important properties.  We help you understand what it means to you personally, and look at meal planning, menus and recipes that will help you add whole foods to your diet.  For each “Basic” Educational class we offer a cooking class to help implement the steps.

We package our classes with a cooking class and the educational piece that goes with it.  You can purchase the package for one component, or the whole series together.  It all depends on where you are now.


The 4 Season Eating Plan- A Personal Plan to Health & Weight Control

When you move your diet to eating a whole foods diet, you will naturally begin to pay attention to the seasons and what foods each season has to offer.  Eating with the seasons helps your body to stay energetically “tuned in”,  helps you get all the nutrients your body needs on a yearly basis, helps to decrease excess, stay connected, and bring awareness to preventing chronic diseases that plague our culture.

Signing up for The 4 Season Eating Plan begins with an initial class to develop your personal plan and set personal goals, then continues with 4 yearly classes in each season to adjust your plan accordingly.  We don’t just look at your food… we also address the whole person by looking at the complete circle of life, including your exercise routine, and tweaking as needed.  We provide you with a personal food journal that makes life easy to eat well.  You’ll also be linked in to our menu and recipe database and our group accountability plan that will help you stay connected when you need it most.  If you find you need more cooking skills to take advantage of the seasonal whole foods, all of our cooking classes are offered using seasonal foods.  We offer “The Basics” and “Food Therapy” classes. We understand that people have busy schedules so we offer 1 meeting per season.  Our quarterly meetings will be a planning session to help you stay on track for your health.   They will also offer motivational speakers, local vendors to tell you all about the best products to buy and where to get them.  You will discover that one of the best parts of The 4 Season Eating Plan workshops is the people you meet who have a kindred spirit in staying healthy, enjoy eating well, and care about preventing disease.

Individual Counseling

Individual Counseling Services are scheduled based on your needs.  We recommend an assessment for your first appointment.  Based on your health history we can assess how many sessions would be best to start .  These can be joined with group cooking classes or individual cooking lessons based on clients needs.
